Mohammed Siraj is one of India’s premier pacers at the international level. He has made a name for himself by performing well in all three formats. Since his debut for India in 2020, he has become an improved bowler. But he made his very first appearance in the Indian Premier League. Siraj made his IPL debut in 2017.
His debut was with Sunrisers Hyderabad in 2017 as a local player. Later in 2018, he was picked up by Royal Challengers Bengaluru and now he is the spearhead for the franchise and one of the leading wicket-takers for them in the IPL. The 30-year-old has had a mixed start to the IPL 2024. He bowled well in one game, which RCB won. Now his next game will be against Lucknow Super Giants. LSG has a strong batting line-up, and they have a batting depth until nos. 7 or 8, which makes it tough for any bowler to do well. However, Siraj has done well against them. In fact, he is the highest wicket-taker against LSG among the current RCB bowlers. The RCB pacer will look to carry on the momentum.

Faf du Plessis (79*) was the top scorer. In reply, LSG had a poor start, courtesy of Siraj’s 3/22 in his four overs. He dismissed Kyle Mayers, KL Rahul, and Nicholas Pooran. Mohammed Siraj vs LSG: What to Expect?
Siraj bowled a brilliant spell of 2/26 against Punjab Kings to help his team win their first game of the IPL 2024. He will look to do something similar against LSG. Though he can be expensive at times, once he gets going, he can put his team up front. Lucknow mainly depends on their top order, and if somehow Siraj can take a couple of early wickets, then the story can be totally different. He has good numbers against Quinton de Kock and KL Rahul as well.
