One more new face emerged as Ashwani Kumar, a left-arm fast bowler who took 4 wickets for MI at economy rate of 8. In reply, MI comfortably achieved the target in 12.5 overs with a blazing 62-run off 41 balls by Ryan Rickelton. It is expected to be another high-scoring thriller between both teams in the upcoming match. Key Players from both teams
MI- X Factors
Mumbai Indians have star batters in their squad such as Rohit Sharma, Suryakumar Yadav and Ryan Rickelton who have great records at Wankhede Stadium and can turn on their beast mode in the upcoming match against RCB. Apart from this, the star studded batting lineup contains top-notch player such as Hardik Pandya as finisher and Naman Dhir is also winning hearts.
In the bowling line, MI will be welcoming Jasprit Bumrah after recovering from injury, but Hardik Pandya is also handling the pace department with his seam bowling having taken 8 scalps from 3 matches in IPL 2025. Along with him, MI have left-arm medium fast bowler Ashwani Kumar who shone with the ball in a recent match against KKR by taking 4 wickets for 24 runs.
RCB- X Factors
For RCB, Virat Kohli has been the leading run-scorer (97) from 3 matches after Phil Salt who has amassed 102 runs at an average of 34. However, they will need support from the other end with skipper Rajat Patidar and all-rounder Liam Livingstone looking to fire with bat again as he recently smashed a half-century getting 54 off 40 balls against GT. in middle order, Tim David is also a key player to watch out for as his role is to accelerate the inning.
In the bowling line-up Josh Hazlewood is commendable as he has taken 6 wickets from 3 matches. Also, RCB will depend on one more pacer Yash Dayal who is second-highest wicket taker in their squad with 3 scalps in 3 matches. Moreover, Krunal Pandya, a left-arm spinner is reliable because of his unprecedented variations.
