Lucknow Supergiants (LSG) will be hosting Gujarat Titans (GT) in match number 21 of IPL 2024 at the BRSABV Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow on 7th April. LSG didn’t have a great start to the tournament as they ended up losing their first match to Rajasthan Royals by 20 runs in Jaipur. However, after that, LSG registered consecutive victories against Punjab Kings and Royal Challengers Bengaluru at Ekana and M. Chinnaswamy Stadium. They are currently in top 4 with two wins from three games. Now, LSG will be looking to continue their winning momentum against GT.
On the other hand, Gujarat Titans have also been convincing with two wins from the four matches so far. They started their IPL 2024 campaign with a win against Mumbai Indians at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. However, GT ended up getting a big 63-run defeat against Chennai Super Kings at Chepauk. The Gujarat-based franchise get back on their winning track after registering a convincing victory against Sunrisers Hyderabad by 7 wickets. However, in the very next game, Punjab Kings snatched the victory away from GT due to Shashank Singh’s heroics as they chased 200-run target in a high-scoring encounter at Narendra Modi Stadium on 4th April.
