Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium, also known as Uppal Stadium, is located in Hyderabad, Telengana. It is owned and operated by the Hyderabad Cricket Association and is also home to the Sunrisers Hyderabad and Hyderabad Cricket team. As of 13 October 2024, it has hosted 6 Tests, 10 ODIs, and 3 T20Is. The stadium hosted the final of the 2017 IPL and the final of the 2019 IPL. The stadium hosted its first ICC event in October 2023 during the 2023 Cricket World Cup.

5. Sunrisers Hyderabad vs Royal Challengers Bangalore- Match 11, IPL 2019

In Match 11 of the IPL 2019, RCB skipper Virat Kohli won the toss and elected to field first.
David Warner and Jonny Bairstow were quick to get off the blocks as they gave their side a thunderous first wicket stand of 185 runs. Yuzvendra Chahal broke the long-standing partnership with the wicket of Jonny Bairstow, but it was perhaps a bit too late. The Royals’ bowling attack struggled to find their rhythm in the first innings as the destructive Sunrisers batting unit posted a huge total of 286. However, Rajasthan made up their mind to have a go at the SRH bowlers, but they lost the wickets of Yashasvi and Parag in quick succession, which left the RR batters with quite a lot to do. Samson and Jurel took the game deep with fighting efforts as both the batsman got to the fifty run mark. Hardik probably instantly regretted his decision as SRH posted a massive total of 277 to chase. However, the Mumbai side refused to go down without a fight. In Match 8 of the IPL 2024 season, Mumbai Indians captain Hardik Pandya won the toss and elected to field first.
The Sunrisers had one thing clear from the onset that is, to play their game without being worried about the loss of wickets and, most importantly, to play fearless cricket. Travis Head and Abhishek Sharma gave a fabulous 2nd wicket partnership of 68 runs, with each of the batsman bringing up the 50 landmark. Abhishek Sharma decided to take on the bowlers from ball one and scored a quickfire 24(11) before being dismissed by Theekshana. Then it was the Travis Head and Ishan Kishan show as they put up an 85-run stand for the 2nd wicket. Ishan Kishan scored a magnificent century on debt for the Sunrisers and was well supported by the likes of Nitish Kumar Reddy, Heinrich Klaasen and Travis Head.
