Muthiah Annamalai Chidambaram Stadium, commonly known as the Chepauk Stadium, is a cricket stadium in Chepauk, Chennai. It is operated by the Tamil Nadu Cricket Association and is the home ground of the Tamil Nadu Cricket team and the Chennai Super Kings. It is one of the oldest stadiums in India that is still being used. The venue has also hosted international matches in cricket world cups that were held in 1996,2011, and 2023. The pitch has been a great wicket for the spinners and is often on the slower side. The venue has also had many high-scoring matches. 5. Lucknow Supergiants vs Chennai Super Kings -Match 39, IPL 2024

In Match 39 of the 2024 IPL season, LSG Skipper KL Rahul won the toss and elected to field first.

In Match 32 of IPL 2010, Chennai Super Kings captain MS Dhoni won the toss and elected to bat first.
Mathew Hayden and Murali Vijay played beautifully from the onset and set a score of 62 for the 1st wicket. After the fall of the 2nd wicket, CSK got an unbelievable parternship going between Albie Morkel and Murali Vijay as the duo put up a 152 run stand.
