6. Deccan Chargers – 155/0 vs MI in 2008
The first time a team crossed the 150-run mark in an IPL game without losing a wicket was back in 2008. It was the match between Deccan Chargers and Mumbai Indians at DY Patil Stadium. Mumbai batted first and managed a total of 154/7 in the first inning. But that was not enough for them to defend. The Chargers’ opener took all the responsibility on them and finished the game. Adam Gilchrist and VVS Laxman (37 off 26) added an unbeaten 155 runs in just 12 overs to win the game by ten wickets. Gilchrist made 109 off 47 balls.
5. Mumbai Indians – 163/0 vs RR in 2012
The fifth-highest total without losing a wicket was registered by Mumbai Indians. They did it during the 2012 edition. It was the 72nd match against Rajasthan Royals in Jaipur. RR scored a total of 162/6 in 20 overs, with some contributions in the middle. For MI, both openers added an unbeaten 163 runs in 18 overs to take their teams to a 10-wicket win. Sachin Tendulkar made 51-ball 58 runs, while Dwayne Smith scored 87 off 58, with 10 fours and three sixes.

The joint-third highest score without a wicket came during the 2021 season when Royal Challengers Bengaluru took on Rajasthan Royals in Bengaluru. This was the 16th game of the season, and RCB won the toss and bowled first. RR scored a challenging score of 177/9 in the first inning. But the second inning had some incredible batting performances from Devdutt Padikkal and Virat Kohli. Both batters scored 181 runs in 16.3 overs and won the game for RCB. Padikkal made a 52-ball 101, and Virat was unbeaten at 72 off 47.
3. Chennai Super Kings – 181/0 vs PBKS in 2020
Chennai Super Kings also registered 181 runs without losing a wicket in a chase in the 2020 edition. It was the game against Kings XI Punjab (now Punjab Kings) at Dubai Cricket Stadium. Batting first, Punjab reached a big total of 178/4 in 20 overs. In reply, both CSK openers made mockery of Punjab’s bowlers and scored 181/0 in 17.4 overs to take their team to victory. Shane Watson made 83 off 53 with 11 fours and three sixes, while Faf du Plessis scored 87 off 53 with 11 fours and one six.
2. Kolkata Knight Riders – 184/0 vs GL in 2017
The two-time champion Kolkata Knight Riders registered the highest score for a team in the second innings without losing a wicket. They did it against Gujarat Lions in the 2017 season in Rajkot. Under Suresh Raina, who scored 68 off 51, GL made 183/4 in the first inning. Chasing the target, KKR got off to a flying start when Chris Lynn scored a 19-ball fifty. He made 93 off 41 balls, with 6 fours and 8 sixes, and added 184 runs in 14.5 overs with Gautam Gambhir (76 off 48) to take KKR to the win.
1. Lucknow Super Giants – 210/0 vs KKR in 2022
The highest total by a team without losing a wicket is registered under the name of Lucknow Super Giants. They had this moment during the 66th game of the 2022 edition against Kolkata Knight Riders at DY Patil Stadium. LSG won the toss and decided to bat first. They added 50 runs in 7.1 overs and 150 runs in 17.1 overs. But then, LSG scored 60 runs in the last 17 balls and ended at 210/0 in 20 overs. Quinton de Kock scored 140 off 70 balls with ten fours and ten sixes, and KL Rahul scored a 51-ball 68. In reply, KKR scored 208/8 and lost by just two runs.
