5. Moises Henriques – 20 Balls
The third joint-fastest for Sunrisers Hyderabad came during the 2015 edition. It was against Royal Challengers Bengaluru in the 52nd game of the tournament in Hyderabad. It was a rain-hit game, and SRH scored 135/3 in 11 overs. Moises Henriques smashed a 20-ball fifty and made 57 off 22 balls, with five fours and four sixes. However, the rain came again, and RCB got a target of 81 runs in six overs. RCB made 83/4 in 5.5 overs to win the game.

David Warner has hit a 20-ball fifty twice for Sunrisers Hyderabad. One of those came against Kolkata Knight Riders during the 2017 edition in Hyderabad. Batting first, SRH made 209/3 in the first innings. Warner smashed a 20-ball fifty and went on to score 126 off 59 balls, with 10 fours and 8 sixes. In reply, KKR managed 161/7 and lost by 48 runs.
3. David Warner – 20 Balls
David Warner smashed his first 20-ball fifty against Chennai Super Kings in the 2015 edition. It was the 34th game of the tournament in Hyderabad. SRH posted a big total of 192/7 in the first innings. Warner scored 61 off 28 balls, with 11 fours and one six. It was the joint-third fastest fifty for SRH. Chasing the target, CSK tried hard but reached a total of 170/6 and lost the game by 22 runs.
2. Travis Head – 18 Balls
The second fastest fifty for the 2016 IPL winner came during the 8th game of the 2024 edition. It is against Mumbai Indians in Hyderabad. Batting first, SRH went on to break all the previous batting records with some break-taking power-hitting. Travis Head gave them a blistering start and smashed an 18-ball fifth. He scored 62 off 24 balls, including nine fours and three sixes, for a strike rate of 258.33. SRH posted the highest IPL total of 277/3.

In the same game against Mumbai Indians in the IPL 2024 in Hyderabad, Head struck an 18-ball fifty and registered the record for the fastest IPL fifty for SRH. But that record stayed for just three overs because Abhishek Sharma went on to slam a 16-ball fifty in the same innings to register a new record. He made 63 off 23 balls with three fours and seven sixes, while SRH made 277/3 in 20 overs.
