KL Rahul tops the list of the fastest to score 4000 runs in the Indian Premier League. Rahul took only 105 innings to achieve this wonderful record. The Lucknow Super Giants played against the Punjab Kings on April 15, 2023, at Ekana Stadium, Lucknow. In that match, when KL Rahul crossed the 30-run mark, he became the fastest 4000-run scorer in the IPL. Rahul scored a magnificent 74 from 56 balls with eight fours and one maximum. Due to a brilliant all-rounder performance from Sikandar Raza, the Punjab Kings won the game by two wickets.

2. Chris Gayle: Fastest 4000 Runs in IPL
Six hitting machines from Jamaica crossed 4000 runs against the Rajasthan Royals on March 25, 2019 at Sawai Mansingh Stadium, Jaipur. Gayle batted aggressively and smashed 79 runs from 47 balls, including eight fours and four sixes. Gayle was honored as the player of the match for his match-winning performance. Univers Boss took just 112 innings to complete 4000 runs.
Gayle became the second overseas player to score 4,000 runs in the Indian Premier League. Gayle is the only batter to win an orange cap in back-to-back Indian Premier League seasons. In 2011, Gayle scored 608 runs, and in 2012, he scored 733 runs playing for Royal Challengers Bangalore.
3. David Warner: Fastest 4000 Runs in IPL
The first overseas batter to reach 4000 runs in the Indian Premier League. The Australian left-handed batter played 114 innings to achieve this milestone. Warner, playing for Sunrisers Hyderabad against Kolkata Knight Riders in the first eliminator of the 2017 IPL season, reached this landmark with six. David Warner tried to contributed with the bat by scoring 37 runs on 35 balls. Unfortunately, Sunrisers Hyderabad lost that match and were eliminated from the 2017 season.

4. Faf Du Plessis: Fastest 4000 Runs in IPL
The current Royal Challengers Bangalore captain and former Chennai Super Kings player is also part of this batting record. The attacking right-handed opener completed 4000 runs in 121 Innings. Faf completed this achievement against the Rajasthan Royals on May 14, 2023, at Sawai Mansingh Stadium, Jaipur. 54 from 42 balls, including three fours and two sixes, Faf scored in that match. RCB had a total of 171 runs to chase for RR, but RR got all-out in 59 total, and RCB won by a huge margin of 112 runs.
Faf du Plessis played 130 matches in the Indian Premier League and scored 4133 runs with 33 fifty plus scores. Notably, Faf will lead Royal Challengers Bangalore in the upcoming 17th season of the IPL.
5. Virat Kohli: Fastest 4000 Runs in IPL
Superstar of the Game also added his name to the record book by becoming the first player to achieve 4000 runs in the Indian Premier League. Virat Kohli surpassed Mr. IPL Suresh Raina and completed 4000 runs in just 128 innings. In the 2016 season, playing against Kings XI Punjab at RCB home ground, M Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bangalore, in a 15-over match, Kohli played an unbelievable inning of 113 runs from 50 balls. Kohli smashed twelve boundaries and eight maximums. Notably, Virat Kohli completed his 4000 runs in the IPL in that game with stitches on his hand; that was one of his most outstanding knocks in IPL history.
Virat was the leading run scorer in the 2016 Indian Premier League season. Virat scored 973 runs in 16 innings with an average of 81.08 and a strike rate of 152.03. The runs machine scored four hundred in that season and seven fifty plus scores.
