Just a few days left before the defending champions Chennai Super Kings (CSK) take on Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in the opening match of IPL 2024 at the M.A. Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai on 22nd March. It is going to be the 17th edition of the cash-rich league and the fans are enthralled to support their favorite players and franchises for the next two months.
Talking about the first match of the season, the five-time champions CSK will return to their den at Chepauk, where they will take on RCB, who are looking for their first trophy in the last 16 years. However, the Men in Red and Gold don’t have an impressive record against CSK but will be looking to change history and start their IPL 2024 campaign with a win against MS Dhoni and his men in front of their home crowd at Chepauk.
