1. Gujarat Titans
The Gujarat Titans only played two seasons in the Indian Premier League, and they showed extraordinary consistency in their two Indian Premier League participations. The Gujarat Titans currently have the highest winning percentage in the IPL. From 2022 to 2023, the Gujarat Titans played 33 matches, won 23 of them, and lost only 10 matches. Because of their 23 wins, their win percentage is 69.69, which is the highest in the league.
Notably, the Gujarat Titans played finals in both seasons; in their first appearance in the league, they won the title under the Hardik Pandya captaincy, and in the second season, they lost the final against the Chennai Super Kings. The Gujarat Titans entered the league like pros and showed a completely dominant performance throughout the seasons.

2. Chennai Super Kings
The yellow brigade won last year’s Indian Premier League title, defeating the Gujarat Titans. Chennai Super Kings are in second place in the winning percentage list of the IPL teams. Chennai Super Kings played 225 matches until 2023 and registered 131 wins and 91 defeats. The Chennai Super Kings have a winning percentage of 58.22 in the fastest-paced league.
Under the captaincy of Mahendra Singh Dhoni, the Chennai Super Kings won five Indian Premier League trophies. Chennai played with remarkable consistency and qualified for the playoffs 12 times out of 14 years. CSK played the IPL inaugural season finale but lost against the Rajasthan Royals. After that, they reached the finale in the back-to-back 2010 and 2011 seasons and won the title both times. They defeated the Mumbai Indians in 2010 and the Royal Challengers Bangalore in 2011. CSK lost the final against Mumbai Indians in the 2015 and 2019 IPL seasons and registered a win in the final against Sunrisers Hyderabad in 2018. 4th IPL title CSK won in Dubai against Kolkata Knight Riders, and last year in 2023, they registered their 5th IPL trophy win.
Maybe this year will be the last time Chennai Super Kings play under five-time IPL-winning captain MS Dhoni, and they definitely want to make it memorable for their players and fans.
3. Lucknow Super Giants
The Lucknow Super Giants also joined the Indian Premier League with the Gujarat Titans in 2022. The Lucknow Super Giants currently have the third highest winning percentage in the league at 58.62. The Lucknow-based franchise played 30 matches in 2 seasons and won 17 and lost only 12 matches.
Lucknow Super Giants, due to their consistent performance, finished at number 3 in the points table of both IPL seasons. In 2022, LSG lost the eliminator against Royal Challengers Bangalore, and in 2023, they lost against the Mumbai Indians.
The Lucknow Super Giants named Justin Langer as their new head coach for the 2023 season. It will be interesting to see that under new coach coaching and KL Rahul captaincy, they finish in the points table and qualify for the finals or not.

4. Mumbai Indians
The Mumbai Indians played 247 matches, won 138 matches, and lost 105 matches. The Mumbai Indians have a winning percentage of 56.68, which is the 4th highest in the competition. Mumbai Indians are among the most consistent teams in the Indian Premier League.
Mumbai Indians have won five Indian Premier League titles. MI won their maiden IPL title in 2013; after that, they won in 2015, 2017, 2019, and 2020. Mumbai Indians played six IPl finals and won five of them. The only final they lost was against the Chennai Super Kings back in 2010.
The Mumbai Indians named Hardik Pandya as a captain in place of Rohit Sharma for the 17th season of the IPL. Notably, Hardik Pandya was traded from the Gujarat Titans before the 2024 IPL. Kolkata Knight Riders won 119 matches and lost 114 in the 237 matches played in the Indian Premier League.

KKR ended last season at the No. 7 position; this year their captain, Shreyas Iyer, is back in the team and they also got the most expensive player of the IPL Mitchell Starc. 6. Rajasthan Royals
The first champion of the Indian Premier League, Rajasthan Royals, played 206 matches and registered 101 wins and 100 losses. Rajasthan Royals have a winning percentage of 50.24, and they stand at 6th in the highest winning percentage tally of the IPL.
Rajasthan Royals qualified for the playoffs in 2008, 2013, 2015, 2018, and 2022. From these, they played the finals in 2098 and 2022. In 2008, they ended up as champions, and in 2022, they lost against the Gujarat Titans at the Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad.

7. Royal Challengers Bangalore
One of the most popular teams in the Indian Premier played 241 matches, won 114 matches, and lost 120. Royal Challengers Bangalore, with a win percentage of 48.73, stands at 7th place in the highest winning percentage in the IPL list.
Royal Challengers Bangalore has played in three Indian Premier League finals but has lost all three. RCB reached the final for the first time in 2009 but lost against the Deccan Chargers; a second time in 2011, they lost against the Chennai Super Kings. Last time RCB played in the final of the IPL back in 2016 and was defeated by Sunrisers Hyderabad.

8. Sunrisers Hyderabad

Punjab Kings have a winning percentage of 45.68, which is the second-lowest in the Indian Premier League. Punjab Kings played 232 matches; from those, 194 matches were won and 124 matches were lost. Punjab Kings yet to win an Indian Premier League title.
In 2014, when the Punjab Kings were Kings XI Punjab, they played in the final but were defeated by the Kolkata Knight Riders. Last year, the Punjab Kings finished the season in 8th place in the points table.

10. Delhi Capitals
Delhi Capitals have a winning percentage of 45.33 in the Indian Premier. DC is in 10th place in the highest winning percentage list of the IPL. The Delhi Capitals won 105 matches and lost 127 matches out of 238 matches played in the IPL.
Delhi Capitals also yet to win an Indian Premier League title. DC finished in 9th place in last year’s IPL season. Rishabh Pant missed last year’s IPL season, but he is fully fit and named as a captain for this year’s. The Delhi Capitals will start their campaign against the Punjab Kings on March 23 in Chandigarh.
