Gujarat Titans are one of the few teams that will have a new captain in the Indian Premier League 2024. GT has traded its skipper, Hardik Pandya, to MI and made Shubman Gill the new captain. Only time will tell how good the decision will be. However, the current squad for Gujarat is pretty good, and some big players like Kane Williamson, David Miller, and others are there. But here we will talk about the top all-rounders for Gujarat Titans in the IPL 2024.
Five GT all-rounders in the IPL 2024
1. Azmatullah Omarzai
Azmatullah Omarzai got his maiden IPL call when GT signed him at the IPL 2024 auction. The 23-year-old has an incredible ODI World Cup 2023 in India for his team. He scored runs and also took wickets. He is one of the best upcoming all-rounders, and GT can certainly use him well.
2. Vijay Shankar
Vijay Shankar is another Indian cricketer who has the skill set to make an impact with the bat and the ball. The 32-year-old is a seasonal performer and has done well for the team. He will be needed more as Hardik is not in the team, so we might see Shankar bowling more.
3. Rahul Tewatia
Rahul Tewatia is the “iceman” for Gujarat Titans. He has finished off a few impossible games for GT with the bat. He is more than a useful bowler. Tewatia bowls regularly at the domestic level, but he is not used much in the IPL. But if required, he can be a good spinner.
4. Rashid Khan
Rashid Khan is one of the biggest names to feature in the IPL 2024. He is the main weapon for Gujarat Titans because he takes wickets regularly, and over the last few years, he has shown good performances with the bat as well. So one can definitely call him a useful all-rounder now. Abhinav Manohar played a few games last season and showed his ability with the bat. He is a good batter who can bat anywhere in the order. Though he hasn’t bowled yet in the IPL if given a chance, he is a pretty handy all-rounder that Gujarat can use during the IPL 2024.
