Women’s Asia Cup 2024: Live, Teams, Captains, Venue and Schedule

The women’s Asia cup is starting on the 19 July 2024 and will continue till 28th July 2024. This tournament will be played in a total of 15 matches that has two semi finals and a finale match along with 12 league matches.

Women’s Asia cup 2024 is the ninth edition of this tournament in series after its inauguration in the year 2004. This year also features a total of 8 teams of the Asian continent  that includes  four full time members of the Asian Cricket Council – Bangladesh, India, Pakistan and Sri Lanka and the other four teams are Malaysia, Nepal, Thailand and United Arab Emirates.

Organized by the Asian Cricket Council, this tournament follows the Twenty20 International format. The competition will feature a group round-robin and knockout structure, with Sri Lanka as the host nation.

Women’s Asia Cup 2024: Match Schedule and Fixtures

Women’s Asia Cup 2024: Semi-Final Match schedule

The Women’s Asia Cup also follows the group round-robin and knockout tournament format which will see two semi-Finals match between the top 4 teams on the points table. The teams will first go on head to head battles in the league matches and then as per their points table ranking the top 4 teams will qualify for the playoffs or Semi-Finals.

The top four teams will enter into the Semi Finals with first semi-final fixed on the 26th July 2024 and the second Semi-final is scheduled on the 27th july 2024. The winner from each of these semi finals will enter in the finale to compete for the ultimate trophy.

Women’s Asia Cup 2024: FINAL

The winner of the Semi-final 1 and 2  will go into a head to head battle to lift the coveted trophy title in the final match which is scheduled to take place on July 28, 2024.
