Women’s Asia Cup Winner List: Player of the Match and Player of the Series in history
The first edition of the Women’s Asia Cup has only India and Sri Lanka participating in the 5-match ODI series. Women Team India led by Mamatha Maben who took 10 wickets in the tournament defeated Sri Lanka’s women’s cricket team and secured the inaugural Asia Women’s Cup 2004. India’s former wicketkeeper Anju Jain won the Player of the Match for her exceptional knock of 64 runs against Sri Lanka. Where Anjum Chopra bagged the Player of the Tournament for her 88 runs and 2 wickets.
In the 2022 edition, Harmanpreet Kaur led Team India toward the 7th victory where Renuka Singh became the Player of the Match and Deepti Sharma received the award for the Player of the Tournament.
