Arnos Vale Stadium is a multi-use stadium and one of the oldest stadiums in the West Indies region. The stadium was built and opened in the 1981 same year in which it hosted its very first International Test match.
The stadium gets its name due to being situated in the Arnos Vale sports complex. Among the locals, this cricket ground is known as The Playing Field.
It is mainly located in Kingstown, the capital city of St Vincent & the Grenadines. It is a multi-purpose ground that mostly serves as a cricket and football ground for both domestic and International cricket. The stadium holds an 18,000 seating capacity for the fans.
Ahead of the 2024 ICC Men’s T20 World Cup, Arnos Vale Stadium is going to host 5 T20 games including 2 Super 8 matches. The stadium is ready to host its very first T20 World Cup match 27 between Bangladesh and Netherlands in the ongoing ICC tournament.
