Ajinkya Rahane is a right-handed batter from India. Rahane also captained the Indian national team. Rahane is one of the reliable batter of the Indian batting line-up from the test side and a technically very sound batter. 

Rahane made his debut in international cricket on August 31, 2011 at Manchester against England in a T20I match. Rahane played his first one-day international match on September 3rd, 2011 at Chester-le-Street against England. After a few months of T20I and ODI debuts, Rahane represented India in test cricket on March 22, 2013 at Delhi. 

Ajinkya Rahane captained the Indian test side in the Border-Gavaskar series in 2020–21 and beat Australia for the second time on their home soil. Rahane scored his first century in test cricket at Wellington on February 14, 2014, against New Zealand. The highest score of Ajinkya in test cricket is 188 runs, which also came against New Zealand at Indore on October 8, 2016. Ajinkya Rahane is currently not part of the India Test side. The last century of Ajinkya Rahane in test cricket came back in December 2020 against Australia at the Melbourne Cricket Ground. Ajinkya Rahane IPL hundreds

Ajinkya Rahane made his IPL debut in the first season with the Mumbai Indians, and then he played for various franchises like the Rajasthan Royals, Mumbai Indians, Rising Pune Supergiants, Delhi Capitals, Kolkata Knight Riders, and now the Chennai Super Kings.

Till now, Ajinkya Rahane has played 174 IPL matches and scored 4439 runs with an average of 30.83 and a strike rate of 123.44. Rahane registered 2 centuries and 30 half centuries in the Indian Premier League.

Ajinkya Rahane, playing for the Rajasthan Royals against the Royal Challengers Bangalore at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bengaluru, on April 15, 2012, registered his first IPL hundred. Rahane played an inning of unbeaten 103 runs from 60 balls with a strike rate of 171.66. Rahane scored five maximum and 12 boundaries. Due to the attacking innings of Ajinkya Rahane, the Rajasthan Royals won that game by 59 runs. Rahane won the player of the match award for his batting performance. 

The second hundred for Ajinkya Rahane in the IPL came on April 22, 2019 at Sawai Mansingh Stadium, Jaipur, against the Delhi Capitals. Rahane, as the Rajasthan Royals opener, played a magnificent innings of 105 runs, including 11 fours and 3 maximums from 63 balls. Rahane batted with a strike rate of 166.66 in that inning due to his inning Rajasthan Royals managed to put up a total of 191/6. Unfortunately for Rahane, that inning came in a losing cause, and the Delhi Capitals won that match by six wickets.

In the one-day international matches, Ajinkya Rahane registered three hundred. Rahane played 90 ODI matches for India, and in 87 innings, he scored 2962 runs with an average of 35.26. First century in ODI cricket for Rahane on September 25, 2014, against England at Birmingham. The second ton was against Sri Lanka at Cuttack in 2014, and the third one was against the West Indies at Port of Spain back in 2017. The highest score for Ajinkya Rahane in ODI cricket is 111 which was against Sri Lanka at Cuttack.

20 T20I played by Ajinkya Rahane for India and scored 375 runs with an average of 20.83 and a strike rate of 113.29. Notably, Rahane has not scored any T20I hundred and his best score in T20I is 61 runs which was in his debut match against England in 2011 at Manchester.
