The 12th edition of CPL 2024 is set to fly high on 30th August at Sir Vivian Richards Stadium. Caribbean Premier League 2024 is one of the most anticipated domestic T20 leagues that has given many West Indies cricketers a platform to showcase their talent globally.
It’s been running for more than a decade, where six teams face each other twice in the round-robin stage and then a playoff format decides the top two teams, and battles in the Final.
In the last season, Guyana Amazon Warriors defeated the Trinbago Knight Riders and won the knockout by 9 wickets and 36 balls left. This is the first time that the Amazon Warriors lifted their maiden CPL trophy in the tournament’s history.

In the history of the CPL tournament, Jamaica Tallawahs and Trinbago Knight Riders have equaled the record by winning 3-3 CPL Trophies respectively. Apart from these two only Barbados Tridents won the CPL title twice for 2014 and 2019.

Dwaine Pretorius is the one awarded with the Player of the Match in the Final. 35, Proteas cricketer Dwaine Pretorius bagged a four-wicket haul for 26 runs in the 4 overs For the Amazon Warriors. For the Player of the Tournament, Shai Hope won the title for the GAW.
